you take ownership for proposal projects

As a Proposal Project Manager you will have the responsibility of managing and executing proposal projects from proposal start to contract signing. A proposal project can take from weeks to months and involve colleagues around the globe. The contract sum is typically between 200 M DKK to 800 M DKK.

your key role will be to:
• Plan a strategy and a time schedule for the proposals work and actively follow up on both
• Lead and motivate your proposal project team members in finding the right solutions and delivering the foreseen results
• Understand the project processes to map the time and risk management of the projects
• Be in charge of the overall project economy
• Understand contract requirements and support our Sales Managers in contractual negotiations
• Continue the improvements in the proposal processes and tools with further improvements of our competitiveness
In addition to driving a project, we also provide the opportunity to play a big part in the commercial side of the business.

about you
It is important that you have a commercial understanding, master management of time, risk, resources and economy to perfection in connection with project deadlines and that you independently take ownership for your projects.
Furthermore, you:
• Have extensive experience in managing proposal projects from sales to contract signing within the WtE/Biomass sector or similar
• Have a solid commercial understanding, a winner mentality and can keep full perspective of large, cross-disciplinary engineering and construction projects
• Have a technical background from engineering, i.e. mechanical, electrical, or chemical
• Have multidisciplinary insight and experience, i.e. great communication skills, able to draft and calculate proposals from scratch (tailor-made to client needs), and great commercial understanding
• Have previous experience with contracts, legal terms and claims management, an advantage, but not a requirement
• Speak and write English effortlessly
• Find value in sharing knowledge and as a person you are an independent team player

The proposal department is in charge of leading proposals for the BWV scope of integrated solutions such as boiler, grates, firing systems, conveyance systems, soot blowers, flue gas cleaning & condensation and cooling systems in an EPC context.
The proposals are executed in close cooperation with our sales and execution teams and allocated to technical staff based in our offices around the globe. You will travel up to 50 days a year, primarily in Europe and Asia, in connection with project development. You can look forward to a versatile working day where you will be in contact with many internal and external stakeholders.
