Job Description

We are Looking for a Legal Advisor for one of our clients based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:

Title: Legal Advisor (Saudi Nationals)

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the system of companies, the system of work, systems of pleadings and procedures of litigation, arbitration, trademarks, commercial papers and various commercial regulations

Reports to: Sr.Manager Legal

Job Profile: Protect the legal rights and interests of the Company and provide the legal environment that supports all departments and sectors of the company.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Core Accountability:
• Review and audit Company contracts and agreements with vendors/service providers to ensure Company is legally safe in entering into the agreement.
• Prepare/Develop/Continuously improve model formats for Contracts and Agreements of the Company that are concluded or to be entered.
• Provide legal advice to the Company’s departments and respond to queries received from them to ensure providing of sound legal advice to safe guard Company interest.
• Investigate employee misconduct and prepare necessary reports to control violations and make recommendations thereon.
• Examine the issues raised by or on the company and prepare the application notes and defenses thereon.
• Consider/Review complaints submitted by government agencies against the Company and seek to resolve them.
• Provide supervision for collection of bad debts of the Company.
• Improve Legal awareness of Company employees through regular interactions and conducting legal training sessions where required
• Review and support in preparation and development of internal work regulations and procedures in the Company to ensure all procedures and regulations are within the legal framework
• Provide clarifications and legal solutions regarding the Company's relationship/issues with its employees, customers, shareholders and contractors.

2.Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unit’s policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Comply with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.

Qualification, Experience and skills

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or any related field and MBA or Masters in a related field (Preferred).

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in the system of companies, the system of work, systems of pleadings and procedures of litigation, arbitration, trademarks, commercial papers and various commercial regulations.

Skills:
• Great written and spoken communication skills (English and Arabic).
• Project Management skills
