Leads the Billing Services Team processes for the organization. Leads and performs updates on the billing systems used to ensure accurate and timely billing. Works with the organization’s Collections function to assist in resolving issues with past due accounts. Coaches and supports the Billing and staff. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on the assignment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Leads the team and ensures the timely and accurate processing of all data entry, reservation billing, licensee billing, and other billing and payment related transactions.
• Tracks billing system updates that reflect changing rates, billing errors, specialized billing accounts, and other billing reports.
• Enforces policies and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely processing and management of all data for all periodic billing and payment reports.
• Works with the organization’s Collections function to resolve past due payments on accounts.
• Provides billing and payment support for special requests and projects from senior management.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Ensures proper staffing and the use of overtime hours to maximize the effectiveness of the Billing function. Supports with coaching and training of new employees to perform their duties in a manner consistent with company standards.
Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline desired.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in finance or accounting function.
• Minimum of 1 year leading a team.
Skills:
• Knowledge of financial and accounting calculations, reporting.
• Excel and accounting/financial software application skills.
• Requires excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in teams.
