Company Description
International partner for oil and gas operations in Africa, is recruiting a Expert Pilot Drone (m/f), for Pemba, Mozambique.
Job Description
In this role the Expert Drone Pilot will work as, lead the pilot for the project,
lead the team to deliver the expected service to the client, fly the drone.
Manage flight planning and operations according to the client's needs, coordinate the delivery of the raw videos / images to the client, build the flight plans given the client's area of interest, lead the interaction with regional and local airports for safe operations, ensure that the concept of operation and special operation risk analysis is followed, ensure safe operation of the drone, records, reports and incident investigations.
Leads equipment and drone maintenance, maintains the drone, updates flight logs, reports operation to ROAV7 and TEPMA1, communicates with customers whenever an event of interest is detected, communicates with ROAV7 to obtain spare parts/other equipment as required, ensures storage of drone, batteries and all equipment, trains the team to gain experience and autonomy and all tasks.

• Duration: 30 months
Qualifications
• English proficiency: Fluent in oral and written
• French and Portuguese is a plus
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in complex operations and drones
• Capability to work in electronic systems / integration
• Experience of working in extremely remote areas
• Understanding of local context and environment: autonomous
• Proficient with computers, modern communication tools
