Survey Technician

As part of our ongoing growth and success, we are pleased to be advertising for the position of Survey Technician within our Survey team.
This comprehensive technical and practical Survey Technician position lends itself to someone who enjoys overseeing multiple projects at various stages. Naturally, a major component of this position is establishing excellent communication and rapport with clients, colleagues, contractors, supervisors, and other professional disciplines. This position would work in a variety of survey fields such as legal, civil, 3D scanning, and pre-engineering surveying.
Key Responsibilities:
· Topographic Surveys
· As-built Surveys
· Legal Surveys (initial data collection/boundary staking)
· QA Survey Checks
· Monitoring Surveys
· Laser Scanning
· Construction layout
· Processing AutoCAD files for data collector use
· Processing Field Data
· Drafting
Requirements:
· Post-secondary education in Geomatics or Civil
· 1-2 Years’ Experience (summer experience also expectable)
· Follow safety policies and procedures.
· Valid Driver’s License
· Ability to lift 50 lbs.
