Summary Of Post

An opportunity has become available to join a very well-established company, our client has been successfully providing Supported Living Accommodation that supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and challenging behaviours across London and surrounding areas for more than 10 years throughout several boroughs.

This is an exciting time to join the growing team, the client is looking for an experienced Service Manager to support the team at their Enfield site.

To be considered, you must have the following,
• QCF Level 5 Leadership and Management or NVQ Level 4 Health and Social Care
• Experience managing CQC-regulated services for adults with learning disabilities.
• Excellent staff supervision skills and management experience

You will need to have experience managing learning disabilities services (residential or supported living), managing teams, safeguarding adults and person-centred care. As a Service Manager, you will be passionate about providing high standards of care and support and will have the ability to build a rapport with your service users and staff team.

Reporting to the Registered Service Manager you will have the responsibility for leading a team of a Deputy Manager and Support Workers who are responsible for providing day-to-day care and support to individuals across the site. Ensuring the services operate within CQC guidelines as well as the company's own policies and procedures.

Job Purpose
• To ensure that services provide high-quality care.
• To ensure that services operate within their financial parameters.
• Manage this group of services as one system ensures that appropriate capacity is available to meet demand and that high-quality care is offered.
• To work with Primary Care Trusts and Local Authorities to ensure that comprehensive continuing care services are in place.
