To £35,000 plus exceptional benefits package
Mon-Thurs 8.00am-17.15pm, early finish Fridays
Working for a high profile global manufacturer with a diverse product range, you will be joining them at a time of significant growth.
Job role / duties
•Ensure that border-crossing shipments comply with the rules and Trade Agreement compliance
•Ensuring codes set up correctly for new and existing products
•Liaise with Customs and attend inspections or present documents to customs authorities
•Act as the liaison between the customs authorities (or other government agencies and customers)
•Verify document compliancy and accuracy prior to export
•Ensure customer order entry onto the database
•Monitor daily and weekly dispatch plans
•To assist in the development of a continuous improvement and co-ordination in the department
To be considered for this role you MUST:
•Have proven experience of working in an export / logistics environment and be up to date with customs clearance procedures
•Have good working knowledge of Export documentation such as EUR1, ATR, ATA carnet, Destin 8 and CNS.
•Understand Dual-use and licensing as well as Rules of Origin.
•Be highly proficient with Excel
