SCIENTIST FORMULATOR
Seeking an experienced Scientist Formulator to research, formulate and develop novel drug delivery systems. The ideal candidate for this position will be experienced in formulating interventions like nucleic acids, nanoparticles, small molecules, peptides proteins, biologics, cells and exosomes/liposomes
Job Overview:
The Scientist Formulator will:
• Develop and optimize current and novel intervention formulations and delivery systems
• Design formulations and processes for complex and challenging compounds
• Conduct pre-formulation work such as; solubility, stability and excipient compatibility testing
• Develop novel in vitro and in vivo assays for evaluating functionality, targeting efficiency and potency of novel delivery modalities for multiple routes of administration
• Serve as Lead in multidisciplinary project teams
• Work independently, manage multiple projects and collaborate across disciplines
Qualifications:
• Experience in multi-modal drug delivery and formulation.
• Strong track record in product development / drug delivery / complex formulation / process development
• In-depth understanding of pre-formulation, formulation, delivery and biopharmaceutical principles (PK/PD, ADMET, etc...)
• Must have experience with exogenous loading of liposomes, exosomes or other vesicles
• Expertise with in vivo delivery of small molecules, nucleic acids, proteins biologics, cells, exosomes, etc...
Requirements:
• MS or PhD degree within a related scientific discipline and 3-5 years of industry experience or
• BS degree within a related scientific discipline and 7+ years industry experience
Benefits:
Starting Salary $140k to $190K annually, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus of up to 10% of salary, benefits including health Insurance.
Position is full time / onsite in Laboratory in Boca Raton, FL.
