Your Challenge
As a Third Hand Operator, you will be reporting to the Department Supervisor. This fast-paced role provides direct support in achieving operating and financial objectives for the facility aa a member of the machine crew
Job Responsibilities
• Active participation in safety and housekeeping improvements in work all work areas
• Forklift and clamp truck operations
• Set up winder and slitters
• Operation of overhead cranes
• Wrap station operation
• Parent roll handling (including, but not limited to: roll tags, locations, wrapping of parent rolls, etc.)
• Working in a team environment with the other third hand member
Skills & Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous production experience with rotating shifts is preferred
• Results driven individual who challenges the status quo
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• A team member who demonstrates leadership, builds strong relationships, and collaborates with colleagues while embracing our values and ethics
• MUST be able to work rotating 12 hour shifts that alternate between day and night shifts (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 on, then repeat)
