Job Description:
By applying for this position, you will be joining the part-time pool for consideration as a prospective Testing Specialist.
Responsible for demonstrating excellent service and professional proctoring support at our Testing Centers in DeFuniak Springs, Crestview Sikes Center, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville as needed. They will demonstrate thorough knowledge of all tests offered, which includes the PERT, TABE, HESI, Accuplacer, and Pearson VUE certification exams.
Maintains the daily online scheduling system.
Troubleshoots basic technology issues affecting exam administration.
Maintains credentials necessary to deliver exams and adheres to all exam procedures and guidelines to ensure a secure testing environment.
Responds to walk-in and telephone inquiries for information on testing.
Provides administrative support for remote proctoring, as needed.
Files and submits testing forms and score report information in a timely manner.
Demonstrates efficiency in providing clerical support, data entry, reports, and other administrative needs.
As a part of the college's risk management tool annual mandatory compliance training is required.
Perform all other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
Associate's degree preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Experience in postsecondary education to include familiarity with testing protocol preferred.
Ability to deal with the general public in a positive, courteous, and professional manner.
Strong customer service and telephone etiquette required.
Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication and problem solving ability.
Must be flexible and adaptable to scheduling needs.
Must be willing to travel between campuses.

Classification: Part-Time
Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours: Up to 29 hours per week
Location: Niceville & Fort Walton
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
