Description
A Key Manager is always a manager. They direct and control the effective and efficient operation of the entire restaurant, which may include the absence on the GM or AGM. This includes, but is not limited to, all revenue and expenses. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Rocky Mountain Restaurant Group. Most Key Managers fill other roles as well, including but not limited to Server or Bartender/Barista.
Responsibilities
• Drive guest satisfaction and build repeat business through individual efforts in and out of the store.
• Build community relations with guests dining in the restaurant
• Responsible for enforcing RMRG guidelines for doing business and take full responsibility for coaching and developing staff during the shift.
• Assists in executing directives that drive sales to achieve and or exceed budgeted numbers for store.
• Key Managers are responsible for setting examples for other staff to follow.
• Key Managers enforce bar policies to meet company objectives.
• Key Managers are responsible for opening and or closing duties, which includes balancing cash drawers and securing the restaurant at the close of business.
• Performs any other tasks as requested that relate to the function of RMRG as a whole.
Requirements
• Ability to speak and hear English fluentlyBi-lingual staff always welcome.
• Minimum (2) years in the field of Food & Beverage; minimum of one (1) consecutive year high-volume, full-service restaurant experience as a Server and/or Bartender.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication, coaching, team-building and problem-solving skills required.
• Must possess general knowledge of all phases of full-service dining and food and beverage service procedures.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, restaurant environment.
