You'll be on the front lines designing, prototyping, and testing impactful hardware that ships straight to our customers! The Role:
The Hardware Engineer, Research & Development will work closely with our CTO and advanced R&D and science teams to design, develop, test, and analyze both the current generation and next generation of Brava products -- all in the name of making delicious and healthy food. Things You'll Own/Do:
Design prototypes and production-worthy solutions to accomplish product objectives Conduct thermal, structural, and tolerance analysis for electromechanical assemblies using both hand calculations and finite element analysis Participate in initial mechanical design, 3D modeling, and prototyping. Conduct failure analysis of components with respect to thermal, load-related, and chemical effects Interface with our laboratory technicians and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure final designs will function in accordance with overall product requirements Maintain highest standards of excellence, never settling for the status quo Our Ideal Candidate Has:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering 3
years' experience in the design of mechanical systems Bonus Points For:
Exposure to electrical systems Exposure to high temperature environments Experience with high-volume production designs or design for manufacturability Working knowledge of thermal and structural FEA studies Experience with fatigue and thermal testing of mechanical assemblies Experience with Solidworks Experience in IoT or consumer electronics industries Why You Should Work Here:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Hardware DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications
