Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic server to join our team at our Mexican restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and hospitality, and be able to provide excellent customer service to our guests. The server will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Responsibilities:
• Greet guests and escort them to their table
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items
• Take food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
• Monitor tables and ensure that guests have everything they need
• Clear tables and clean up after guests
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up and breaking down tables, cleaning the dining room, and stocking supplies
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff to ensure that orders are accurate and timely
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to guests
• Handle cash and credit card payments and make accurate change
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and culture a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
