We are searching for a BC/BE Neurosurgeon for Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. Regions Hospital is a large Level I trauma hospital located on the east side of the twin cities, admitting and managing about 4800 patients per year. We are a major site of training for general surgery residents, critical care and burn fellows.
• Looking for expertise and interest in Trauma and Complex Spine
• Case mix of 80/20:Spine/Cranial and 50/50:elective/trauma + ER
• Currently, four experienced and very collegial FT neurosurgeons, looking on expanding to 6-7
• Our surgeons work closely with outstanding teams of specialists: nationally recognized Trauma program; four phenomenal Neurocritical Care specialists (largest neurocritical team in Minnesota); the busiest team of Neuro-interventional Radiologist in MN; In-house Rehab and PM&R team, etc.
• Large supportive APC and Nursing teams
• 24/7 non-surgeon first call structure
• Advanced technology and state of the art facilities, including:
• Stealth S8 navigation with 24 hr. technical support; two O-Arms; Leica Pentero (?) microscopes; Electrophysiological monitoring with SSEP/MEPs, ds-SSEP, cranial nerve monitoring, intraoperative nerve, cortical and WM tract stimulation, etc., 5_ALA fluorescence intraoperative guidance, etc
• Continuous in-patient EEG monitoring; Functional MRI and DTI
• Competitive guaranteed salary (RVU based, regardless of payor mix)
