Job Description

U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust is a leading provider of corporate trust services in the United States and Europe, serving private and public companies, government and tax-exempt entities, and financial services companies. Our Global Corporate Trust & Custody Investment Services is comprised of five business units across the U.S. and Europe to fully support our clients unique local, national, and international needs. On the Learning & Development (L&D) team we are looking to fill an open Instructional Designer role that will support and encourage our employees to continually grow and develop.

Job Description

Develops training curricula, materials, and programs (including classroom training, online training, and other technologies) to meet specific training/learning solutions needs at U.S. Bank. Consults with business line and corporate partners to develop business line and/or corporate-wide training/learning solutions initiatives designed to support critical business objectives. May also support the integration of acquisitions through the design and delivery of conversion training. Identifies and assesses training/learning solutions needs of assigned clients and designs skills training and other business line and/or corporate wide training/learning solutions programs/initiatives. Evaluates the effectiveness of existing training programs/learning solutions and makes improvements or designs replacements.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Four or more years of relevant experience

Preferred Skills/Experience
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles, practices, and learning sciences particularly in the areas of eLearning, curriculum development, multi-media development, and learning technology
• Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of training curricula, materials, and programs in light of business objectives
• Ability to effectively present and facilitate including the use of audio visuals, online, and other technologies
• Proficient in deploying and facilitating training curricula, materials, and programs the incumbent has designed/developed
• Professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
• Proficient in Articulate and/or Captivate
• This position is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days remote per week)
