Our client is looking to hire a Credit/Dispute Specialist for a long term contract positions. The Credit/Dispute Specialist will be analyzing customer disputes, returns, discrepancies, etc. as well as monitoring delinquent accounts to collect on past due balances. This position is located in the east metro and is a great foot in the door to a large, well known organization.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer disputes, returns, adjustments, etc. to identify root cause
- Reconcile open items on customer accounts (open credits, unapplied cash, etc.)
- Monitor delinquent accounts and collect past due balances
- Issue credits as needed
- Ad hoc analysis using SAP and Power BI

Requirements
- BA/BS degree (finance, economics, or similar)
- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to simplify complex problems and build solutions
- Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills (prior experience programming a big plus)
- Strong interest in data analysis, econometric modelling and statistical analysis
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar
