The Brightcove OTT platform is capturing the growth in online media streaming services and is looking for engineers to help make the product rock solid. The team is building a rich user experience across multiple devices including smart TVs, mobile, web and Roku. Job ResponsibilitiesWork with the OTT CMS development team to develop test cases and prioritize testing activitiesExecute test cases and report resultsRecord and manage defects throughout their lifecycle in JiraContribute to existing tools, frameworks, related solutions and build new tools when requiredWork collaboratively with the development team to plan delivery, manage risk improve quality, and streamline our software deploymentsAct as an advocate for Software Quality and the end users. Qualifications/Experience5+ years experience in software quality assuranceExperienced in Scala, Python, SQL and JavaScriptExperienced in REST APIs and automated API testing, prefer experience with PostmanExperience with test automation toolsExperience in Git and log analysisExperience with OTT, video or media is preferredExperience with testing on mobile devices, additional experience with Smart TVs and Roku devices is preferredExperience on testing payments and subscriptions flows on multiple paywalls (Google Play, Apple Store, Stripe or others) is preferredComfortable working in an agile/scrum settingExcellent communication, collaboration, reporting, analytical and problem solving skills.
