Are you positive and goal driven with a knack for parts? Walker Auto & Truck is looking for Store Sales Representatives to develop meaningful business relationships with a wide variety of customers. In this role, you will be responsible for daily sales calls and account management within a designated market. You will have the flexibility and expertise to tailor sales programs to your individual customers. This role will support store success by working towards a common sales goal, participating in team meetings, and sharing valuable customer insights. SUMMARY

The Store Sales Representative positively represents Walker Auto & Truck to potential and current customers, with the goal of growing sales by providing the best service in the industry. This position is responsible for daily sales calls and account management. The Store Sales Representative reports to the Area Sales Manager or the Store Manager, at the direction of the District Manager. This position works daily with store managers to ensure store success whether its making sales or store operations. This position delivers the ideal customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Increase Sales Opportunities and Maximize Revenue:
• Develops meaningful business relationships with a wide variety of customers
• Monitor customer needs, and work with Store Manager and Area Sales Managers to identify new product or program opportunities that add value to the customer relationship
• Present new products, programs, and services, tailoring approach to individual customers
• Serve as the primary contact for customers. Listen, ask questions, take notes, and address the customers needs quickly
• Frequently travel with walker category managers or NAPA sales reps to visit customers
• Address customer sales/service questions and problems quickly. Troubleshoot and make recommendations to meet customer needs
• Make cold calls to generate new sales
• Provide training to customers to utilize Prolink effectively
• Communicate effectively as a professional representative of the company
• Maintain a professional appearance when calling on customers
• Maintain strong product knowledge of auto parts, warranties, promotions, and sales programs
• Network with other stores to obtain parts for customers
• Support Store Success:
• Understand store financial objectives and quotas and work towards the achievement of these targets
• Actively participates and contributes to team meetings
• Clock in and out at the assigned store daily
• Adhere to all safety requirements as per safety policy
• Understand and assist when needed with store operations
• Facilitate reporting to aid in the sales process
• Timely submit all administrative paperwork
• Assist Customer Service Associates and Drivers in resolving issues to meet and exceed customer service expectations
• Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Store Manager or Area Sales Manager
• Continuously develop KNOW HOW:
• Understand and promote NAPA and Walker sales programs
• Keep up with current market trends, sales, parts, and automotive systems
• Participate in-company training events and utilize NapaTraining.com
• Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty to a satisfactory standard. • Education and/or Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven customer service experience
• Proficient in current technology including tablets, computers, Microsoft Office
• 5 years of industry experience required with extensive knowledge of parts and auto services

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear during the duration of your shift (up to 8 hrs). The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be required to travel to various sites. The noise level in the work environment is frequently moderate to loud.
• The employee may further be required to:
• Lift a maximum of 50 pounds from the floor to truck bed height (3-4 ft) and bend/lift 30 pounds from the floor to overhead
• Bend and twist 20-30 times daily while carrying a load of 20 pounds
• Utilize Material Handling Equipment
• Work in non-temperature-controlled environments
