Job Description
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Process Engineer in Constantine, MI for direct hire!
This position provides ongoing technical support to the production department as well as primary support for Environmental Regulatory Compliance and multiple aspects of mill management.
Responsibilities
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety rules and regulations.
• Improve reliability of the process control systems. This includes the DCS system as well as level, pressure and consistency of control systems.
• Day to day operations of the wastewater treatment facility.
• Testing data entry functions for compliance and eventually obtaining a Certificate of Competency for facility.
• Weekend coverage
• Track project status and overall capital plan
• Obtain necessary quotes for equipment and services.
• Assist in design of additions and installations
• Support maintenance efforts as needed
This position works under the direction of the Mill Superintendent and Director of Operations. Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 per year.

Qualifications
• Web handling experience.
• Perform all duties in a professional productive manner with emphasis on Quality, Safety and Business Ethics’ Policies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pulp and Paper Science, or other engineering discipline is required.
• Computer knowledge of Office and CAD
• Ability to work in a fast paced team setting and think independently.
• Ability to assume a leadership role when needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have the ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
