Summary
As the Business Development Manager within our Utilimaster division based in Bristol, IN, you
will be accountable for meeting or exceeding sales goals of your assigned accounts by
promoting the company's suite of fleet solutions. Up to 40% travel may be
required.
You will also be
expected to utilize your consultative selling skills and sales techniques to
continuously develop long-term customer relationships, increase profit margins,
and acquire new clients. It's also worth mentioning that relocation assistance to the Bristol area is available for
non-local candidates.

Delivering profitable sales to the organization through relationship building and solutions delivery
Executing a consultative selling process
Securing long-term client commitments that can deliver sustainable growth
Meeting minimum performance goals (MPG) established by Sales management
Delivering the company value proposition with the goal of signing new business
Selling the entire company suite of solutions to new prospects
Engaging in expansion opportunities of current clients
Documenting sales activity in CRM software
Completing pipeline and expense reports
Increasing company market share through cold calling and following up from leads provided by corporate, referrals, and mailing lists
Developing and maintaining a prospect database
Qualifying prospects through pre-call planning and information gathering
Recommending whether the prospect is a viable client
Assessing your prospects' needs against available products and services
Developing and presenting sales proposals about product selection, sales terms, and delivery dates
Making presentations and conducting sales meetings to fleet decision makers
Partnering with our Client Development Manager and other departments during onboarding
Curating data relative to marketing trends, competitors' products, and pricing
Submitting marketing intelligence reports to Sales management
Submitting sales forecasts regarding quantity and sales price to the operations team
Conducting route rides to gather prospect input and identify needs
Identifying marketing programs and sales aids that would increase sales
Qualifications
7+ years of business-to-business outside sales expertise and a High School Diploma or GED, or a bachelor's degree in marketing, business and 3+ years' B2B outside sales expertise
Deep understanding of the consultative sales process and general business operations
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Willingness to travel approximately 25-40%
