Blast hole survey and assay data are integrated by the Geologist into daily ore control decisions. Maintaining the integrity of the blast hole database, aiding in the development of month-end mine production reports, and monitoring resource model vs. mined performance metrics are some of the responsibilities of this job.

Qualifications:
• Tell the Project Manager about any problems, cost and time overruns, client-requested changes to the project's scope, possible liability exposure, or anything else that could affect how well and safely the project is done.
• Well installation monitoring, including drilling and soil borehole monitoring, is a typical occurrence. Soil samples and groundwater will be collected for testing,
• Additionally, drillers must be responsible for a wide range of tasks, such as ensuring that drilling equipment is properly positioned, communicating management goals to drill crews, and maintaining contact with drillers in order to keep management informed about mechanical concerns, hole quality and surveys.
• If further information is needed, write requests and documents that are accurate, exact, intelligible, and follow rules, regulations, and processes.
• Help engineers and compliance staff with approving permits for solid waste and water facilities. Responsible for approving permits for water quality monitoring plans and evaluating environmental sampling for solid waste facilities projects.
• Project and task management, client contact, proposal writing, cost estimation, remedial systems design, monitoring remedial action implementation/construction, technical report writing, and coaching are all things that I do.
• Submittals for Solid Waste & Waste Cleanup must be examined by District or Division authorities for geological and risk assessment documents Analyze site repair plans and papers given to you by supervisors or managers.
• Every day, management needs to know what's going on, so it's important to write these reports and keep in touch with them. Inventory management and moving samples are two examples of logistical tasks.
• Responsibilities may include the production of remedial investigations, remedial system designs, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and groundwater monitoring plans and reports, as well as cost estimation and technical writing.
• There are a slew of additional tools that must be learned in addition to Word and Excel. Those who work in remedial systems must be well-versed in mechanical and architectural systems as a prerequisite to this position.

Skills:
• You must have one year of specialized federal government experience or GS-07-level education to apply. In order to achieve this criteria, you must have collected, analyzed, and reported on soil and rock sample data, as well as provided standard data to higher-level experts, conducted research or investigations, and/or helped administer mineral locateable and saleable operations.
• A bachelor's degree or higher in geology is required, as well as 20 semester hours in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biological science, structural engineering, mining, petroleum engineering, or computer science from an accredited college or university. Additionally, a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field is required, such as biology, chemistry, or structural engineering.
• An environment in a mining or manufacturing plant might expose workers to dangerous conditions, including extremes in temperature or humidity, electrical shocks, and toxic substances.
• Display geological data using Microsoft applications and document the process. Managing numerous projects and activities at once.
• The ability to carry out field and site inspections for the installation of groundwater monitoring wells at solid waste industries and defunct landfills
