We are looking for Freelance STEM instructors based in Zagazig & Asyut to deliver an introductory workshop about Design & 3D printing for kids from 9 to 14 years old.
WORKSHOP INFORMATION
• Topic: Design using Tinkercad and 3D Printing
• Language: Arabic (technical terms are delivered in both English and Arabic)
• Duration: 4 sessions
• Locations: Fab Lab Zagazig and Fab Lab Asyut
• Dates & Times:
• Day 1: Saturday, February 25th, from 12 to 2:30 PM
• Day 2: Tuesday, February 28th, from 4 to 6:30 PM
• Day 3: Saturday, March 4th, from 12 to 2:30 PM
• Day 4: Tuesday, March 7th, from 4 to 6:30 PM
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate and deliver instructional activities within time and with good quality
• Follow the recommended instructional techniques and approaches in the instructor guide (NO content development required)
• Engage the participants throughout the workshop and maintain a positive learning environment
• Observe participants' progress and troubleshoot problems when necessary
• Attend orientation training and follow-up meetings
• Report on workshop progress regularly and honestly
• Prepare well before each session by going through the provided guides and practicing the activities hands-on
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• To be based in the same city or a near city to the Fab Lab location that you are applying for
• Interest in STEM, robotics, programming, design, and/or digital fabrication
• Interest in working with kids and teens
• Good teaching and instructional skills
• Previous experience with CAD software and 3D printing is a plus
• Good English proficiency in spoken and written contexts
• Eager to learn new skills and knowledge related to STEM in Fab Labs
FINANCIAL COMPANSATION: 750 L.E.
