The Marketing Manager’s focus will be customer acquisition, revenue growth, re-activation of lost business as well as retention through relevant and innovative campaigns and other initiatives based on business intelligence insights.

The key job responsibilities for the Marketing Manager (SportsBook & Casino) based Addis Ababa, Ethiopia will include:
• Development and crafting of new and innovative strategic marketing plans and breakthrough ideas for that will result in a competitive market advantage to support the operationalisation of the current and future Revenue Growth and Optimisation Strategies for both our online as well as in-country retail operations.
• Lead the growth of the brand across various online platforms and social media channels to increase brand recognition and brand affinity to reinforce GSB Uganda as the sports betting brand of choice.
• Collaborate with the Country Manager and the rest of the team to positively position and protect on-going reputation management of the brand within retail operations as well as online.
• Lead the conceptualization and creation of brand strategies and content management through the identification and evaluation of current and future market trends, promoting reputation in all messaging with the public including effective social media and media relations with broadcast, print and new media channels.
• Provide leadership and input into the development and management of the Marketing Budget, forecasting and ROI; including analytics and reporting on the effectiveness of campaigns such as conversion rate / player value / ROI to aid decision-making and optimise campaigns and the use of specific marketing channels.
• Will lead day-to-day collaboration in our creative agency in developing the positioning and creative campaigns that launch and support the brand
• Provide relevant thought leadership, advice and consultation on the marketing portfolio and strategies within the business.

Requirements for this Marketing Manager (Sports Betting & Casino) job in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications or relevant equivalent
• 5 years’ marketing experience including 3 years’ experience in marketing management within e-commerce, including facets of media relations and content management.
• Demonstrable experience in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, campaigns and promotions in sports betting
• Demonstrable experience in the use of digital marketing and social media campaigns and multimedia content creation
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing teams.
• Demonstrable experience using latest marketing, advertising & media channel trends
• Experience with CPA, Revenue Share, CPC and CPM models
• Desirable to have an established network in the iGaming industry
