Company Brief Introduction
The total investment of Shangtex Garment manufacturing Ethiopia PLC exceeds two billion birr, which is one of the largest single investments in Ethiopia.
There are 2 phases of the project which seize 100,000 square meters land in total.
Phase I covers an area of 55,000 square meters, manufacturing area 60,000 square meters, 3 workshop buildings in total with capacity of 10 million pieces per year.
Phase II has 45,000 square meters under planning, focus on Textile and value chain supporting to Phase I.
The domestic parent company from China is Orient International (Holding) CO.LTD which is one of China’s Top 500 Enterprises,ranking 175 and one of the largest importing & exporting companies in China.
The group has more than 20 overseas institutions in America, Europe, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong and other major countries (regions) in the world.
Job Description
• Prepare employees salary that comprises of basic salary, overtime, job target incentive and others
• Accurately calculate employees net payment considering deductions and taxes
• Calculate and deduct government taxes and pension
• Ensure the implementation deduction for absenteeism, late coming and other penalties according to the rules and regulation of the company.
• Archive payroll and related files in retrievable manner
• Monitor employees paid and unpaid leaves
• Answer employee questions concerning payroll
• Ensure company payments are in compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes

Job Requirements
• BA degree in accounting or other related fields
• 2 years and above expereince as a payroll accountant
• Excellent English communication skills ( You will work with Chinese managment team)
• In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and industry legislation
• Good knowledge of the domestic and internation human resources legislation
