Role: Manager Sales and Marketing
Location: Addis Adaba
Main Job Responsibilities
1. Managing Sales and Marketing activities of Ethiopia unit
a. Managing business in key segments like Retail, Decorative projects and Institutional
b. Managing the collections outstanding number of days as per company policy
c. Efficient and effective network management
d. Establish contact with various govt. officials and develop rapport with institutional clients.
e. Regular interaction with CMT to align to AP Global strategic outcomes
2. Assessment of market and development of annual business plan
3. Training and development of Sales and Marketing team
4. Keeping a track on competition activities and overall market dynamics and updating Unit Head about the same and assisting in better market strategy development
5. Warehouse Management
a. Managing timely service to the customers
b. Inventory management (FG) in close coordination with production team on a regular basis
c. Management of Material returns and resolution of customer issues related to pricing and material delivery.
6. Ensure all customer centric activities are carried out properly and as per plan
7. Exploring the export opportunities
8. Evaluate and propose new products for introduction in the market and launch strategies for these products.
9. Plans for ATL, BTL, social media.
Secondary or Allied Job Responsibility
10. Coordination with Technical for New Product Development, Quality related, Competitor product comparison, Complaint solving, Site Visit, product recommendation, Technical presentation to consultant, Architects and other Govt departments.
11. Coordination with Production/ Warehouse function on Pending order tracking, new product development discussion.
12. Coordination with Finance function in case of return cheques, PDC cheques, collection review, credit notes monthly
13. Coordination with Admin Function for leave etc. for Sales representatives and various other issues
14. Ensure all the promotional materials are sent to the market and expected responsibilities are fulfilled.
Other Requirements
Professional Experience-12+ Years, experience in Paints industry is preferred.
Educational Qualification-Graduation is mandatory, MBA preferred
