Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Director to join the Namibia team.

Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. CCBA is a NARTD market leader in Africa. The role will contribute to CCBA vision by developing the national sales and commercial strategy, processes and standards for market execution excellence, norms for key account and channel development and national levels sales initiatives to achieve long term growth objectives based on an understanding of channel structure, channel economics, channel opportunities for beverages possible Route to Market within the channel, as well as, consumer preferences, shopper habits & behaviors by occasion, frequency and spend in each channel for key occasions. Thread the channel strategy, marketing activities and Pack-Price into an actionable Pictures of Success.

Key Purpose:

•Develop and define Pack-Price architecture based on an understanding of shopper/consumer behavior in that channel as part of the implementation of the strategy for each major channel and category in country.

•Build a detailed price and pack architecture strategy, competitive rules of engagement and execution directives that will establish a clear price strategy which delivers revenue and margin targets in line with the OBPPC priorities.

•Lead the picture of success development and best practice approach for each major channel. Ensure that this includes, channel strategy, marketing activities and OBPPC priorities and that it is effectively communicated across the regions and to the bottlers.

•Ensure a Commercial Policy to define Promotion Spend by country, as well as solutions to optimize performance-based spend.

•Execute Direct Marketing Experation spent by Category/Channel established in the Commercial Policy and Communicate Occasions by Group Office.

•Identify the growth opportunities over 3-5 years; analyze research and feedback on changing customer needs; develop the sales delivery model, Lead the prioritization of opportunities and develop the national sales strategy; develop annual sales plan based on the strategy and monitor and update the strategy as required

•Identify the different channels and segment and their varying needs, develop standards and execution guidelines for the same, guide the development of channel activation items and monitor deployment of the same across all regions

•Determine, track and set the execution parameter for becoming a world class selling company

•Guide the development of coaching and training programs, track status of capability within the regions and drive necessary initiatives

•Decide on monthly Demand Planning and Weekly Demand Planning

Implement a clear customer service policy as per strategy and tracking with corrective measures

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications:

•Bachelor's Degree: Finance, Marketing, Business Management or Economics

•Post Graduate Qualification: MBA or equivalent

Experience

•10+ years proven broad Sales, Marketing, Planning or Finance experience with preference in FMCG industry and experience in multi categories operations.

•Extensive Management experience at Senior Levels.

•In-depth understanding of the Country beverage market and understanding and appreciation of the competitive and competitor environment.

•Significant experience and/or exposure to development and implementation of business strategy with strong expertise in brand marketing, innovation, strategy development, distribution, key accounts, sales and market segmentation and insights.

•Able to articulate clear examples of how insight influenced innovation or product development success.

•Proven experience developing and leading Commercial teams to achieve positive business results and/or customer objectives.

•Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a complex environment with multiple entities and stakeholders (KO, Group, Customers, Partners).

•Experience in Supplier and Stakeholders Management
