INVITATION FOR BIDDING FOR THE THIRD ROUND OF N20MILLION COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURAL PROJECTS FOR THE 181 COMMUNITIES OF ANAMBRA STATE
PREAMBLE:
ANAMBRA STATE in collaboration with 181 Communities in the State, intends to execute the Third Round community infrastructure projects in the various Communities that have completed their second round project(s) or have reached practical completion.
OBJECTIVES
In line with the Economics Blue Print of the State, Anambra State Government is determined and committed to providing on Continuous Basis social infrastructure to enhance grass-root development across the State. These projects include:
Construction of:
(1) Abattoirs
(2) Civic Centres
(3) Town Halls
(4) Health Centres
(5) Cottage Hospitals
(6) Police Stations
(7) Libraries/ICT Centres
(8) Market Stall/Shops
(9) Pavilions
(10) Culverts/Drainage Facilities
(11) Public Toilets and Sanitation facilities
(12) Skill Acquisition Centres
(13) Classrooms/Teachers’ Quarters/Corpers’ Lodge
(14) Provision of Public Power Supply Facilities
METHOD OF APPLICATION AND COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS:
Bid documents should be collected from the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, Government House, Awka, Anambra State, with evidence of payment off non-refundable processing fee of twenty five thousand naira (N25,000) paid into “Ministry of local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs” Account Number 3910003/412804 in Eco Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank and Union Bank ‘
SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids submitted by individuals/companies are expected to be accompanied by the following documents:
(1) Evidence of Incorporation or Registration of Business Name with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(2) Evidence of payment of non-refundable processing fee of twenty five thousand naira (N25,000).
(3) Three Years Tax Clearance Certificate
(4) Evidence of Financial capacity to implement the project(s)
(5) Company profile with evidence of having carried out similar projects in the past
(6) Verifiable registered Business office/Address
(7) In the case of buildings, Engineers with requisite qualifications and experience will be required
SUBMISSION:
Completed Bid document in five (5) copies, should be placed in a sealed envelope, and marked ‘ANSG COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT” at the centre of the front of the envelope, and the Project location (that is. Community and Local Government Area) clearly indicated at the top left side of the envelope, while contractor’s name and phone number should be written on the top right hand side of the envelope and submitted to the TRANSITION COMMITTEE CHAIRMAN of the relevant Local Government Area. For Further Clarification, please contact the undersigned. Each successful applicant will be required to present advanced payment Guarantee (APG) for 20% of the cost of the project(s) to cover initial mobilization of funds for implementation
NB: The sealed bid envelope MUST be registered at the Office of the Transition Committee Chairman before being dropped in a locked Tender Box at the Local Government Headquarters of the community of interest. Also, bidders will be contacted to come to the bid opening, where the community leaders (Igwe, President General and other stakeholders) and Anambra State Due Process personnel will be present
