General Procurement Notice (GPN) for 2016 Capital and Recurrent Projects
(A) Introduction
The Adamawa State Polytechnic Yola hereby issues this General Procurement Notice to inform eligible contractors, suppliers, vendors and the general public that it would undertake the procurement of works, goods and services in 2016 in the following areas:
(1) Works – Construction and furnishing of blocks of classrooms, e-examination centre, hostels, offices, laboratories and workshops
(2) Goods – Procurement of books, journals and reference materials, ICT facilities, furniture, fittings and equipment for offices, library, hostels and classrooms, laboratory, workshop and studio facilities
(3) Services – Project planning, design, implementation and monitoring, ICT services, health services, capacity building services, equipment/facility maintenance
(B) Interested eligible bidders are advised to look out for the Specific Procurement Notices (SPN) for the proposed projects listed above in the National Dailies and notice boards depending on the threshold of each project.
(C) This advertisement is not an invitation to tender. Bidders are to note that bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Value Added Tax (VAT), Company Income Tax (CIT), compliance with PENCOM and ITF requirements and relevant registration with professional bodies. Submitted documents may be subjected to due diligence without recourse to bidders.
(D) The Polytechnic reserves the right to invoke the provisions of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) of 2007 on matters regarding to these procurements without any liability to the bidder.
