Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as required, and other customary conditions and approvals.

It is anticipated that, following the conclusion of the transaction, this position may be conveyed with New Consumer Health. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to the successful candidate by New Consumer Health at an appropriate time and would be subject to any necessary consultation processes.

Job Summary:

The Global Operations Franchise Lead serves as the Supply Chain Leader from a Franchise perspective for strategic mid and long term E2E execution plans. Will serve as liaison for Supply Chain to the respective Franchise leadership teams. Provides partnership to the global Supply Chain organization to ensure a reliable supply chain exists, and is shaped by the long-term, end-to-end supply chain strategy and the business strategy for the respective global Franchises. Meets with and reports progress to Supply Chain Leadership regarding her/his franchise, as well as plans for any upcoming adjustments or developments to business operations strategy, or other company goals and objectives.

Strategic Projects (All Functions)
• Serve as initial Operations leader for multi-regional supply related initiatives.
• The IMO Leader is the initial supply chain point of contact for A&D projects and coordinates across all supply chain functions and leverages the A&D playbook to ensure expected value is achieved.
• The IMO Leader translates the Business Strategy into critical inputs for network design projects. Serves as a stakeholder in Franchise Analysis and engages in network optimization efforts as required
• Supports Execution plan development and decision making where applicable. Ensures the execution plans are aligned with business and franchise strategies

Global Portfolio Management (New Product Development & Life Cycle Management projects)
• Partner with Franchise President to align commercial strategy with operational strategy
• Ensure regions are meeting standards on data accuracy to feed portfolio reviews
• Prioritize and coordinate across Franchise, Finance, and R&D to ensure the portfolio is sufficient to deliver the strategic plan
• Partner with R&D to review and confirm Innovation Pipeline in relationship to business and franchise strategies to ensure supply chain readiness
• Support the annual financial business planning process
• Lead Global Portfolio Reviews – to ensure the portfolio is aligned to the strategy to drive sufficiency and healthy financials/Gross Profit
• Ensure customer insights are used to influence future of franchise New Products/Life Cycle Management (NPD/LCM) projects

Driving Reliability and Agility (Source/Plan/Make/ Commercial/Regional SC/Quality)
• Translates the Business Strategy into critical inputs for reliability and agility improvements. Leads problem solving session for multi-regional supply related issues that may have potential disruption to the execution of business and franchise strategies.
• Develop and deploy tools and processes to achieve sustainable mid to long term efficiency to achieve franchise strategy and business plans. Design and deployment of standard Project, Procedures and Portfolio Management digital capabilities within a change management framework
• Participate in Executive S&OP/IBP/MBR's with Commercial and E2E leaders (x-functional) to ensure alignment with franchise strategies. Serve as liaison to escalate any major trade off decisions (e.g. Supply Disruption meetings)

Quarterly Franchise Business Reviews
• Review Plan vs Actuals to strategy for Net Trade Sales (NTS), Service levels (UFR/OTIF-D), NPD, LCM, Financials - Return On Investment for Capital, Free Cash Flow(ROIC/FCF), and other priority metrics

Additional Responsibilities:
• Support the annual financial business planning process in coordination with Global IMO Operations leadership
• Provide input into the design and reporting capabilities of the PPM system including revisions and upgrades
• Key E2E supply chain partner for the design and deployment of standard PPM capabilities
• Key E2E supply chain partner to the franchise for the development and execution of the supply chain strategy
• Organize and lead the IMO Global Project Management Team for respective franchise to execute at the highest level the approved franchise portfolio projects. Ensure excellence in project execution through implementation of best practices and global project management capabilities
• Assign IMO Global Project Managers to the portfolio projects in collaboration with IMO Region IL’s.
• Support IMO Project Managers by elimination of execution barriers, escalating issues as appropriate and involving ultimate decision makers as quickly as possible.
• Communicate Portfolio Performance and Project Execution Metrics across key stakeholders

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree

Required Years of Related Experience: Minimum 15 Years of related experience in total supply chain or commercial functions

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to:
• Lead globally complex cross-functional teams and projects to achieve significant, complex goals and objectives in support of global supply chain performance metrics
• Achieve alignment with cross-functional, cross–regional business partners to maximize efficiencies
• Influence & drive change in a cross-functional, cross-regional matrixed organization
• Lead business strategies with a high-level financial acumen
• Lead and develop talent for a customer focused, high performing team
• Understand and participate in the resolution of technical challenges and technical advancements
• Provide input for key business decisions and bringing a broad perspective and Franchise specific business acumen
• 5 years of demonstrated direct people management experience is required
• Domestic and International Travel expectations: 15-25%
