Notice of Extension for the Opening of Tender
Construction of 60 Number Office Complex at Sokoto State University, Birnin Kebbi Road, Sokoto.
This is to notify all the contractors who purchased tender document for the above that the opening of the tender scheduled for 23rd of August 2016 has been extended to 30th August 2016.
However, the venue and time remained unchanged. The Ministry for Higher Education regrets any inconvenience the extension may cause.

Construction of 60 Number Office Complex at Sokoto State University, Birnin Kebbi Road Sokoto
The Sokoto State Government is embarking on a project for the construction of 60 number office complex at Sokoto State University, Birnin Kebbi Road Sokoto.
CLIENT: Ministry for Higher Education
The project is:
Lot 1 – construction of 60 number office complex.
ELIGIBILITY AND CRITERIA FOR TENDERING.
(a) Evidence of incorporation or business name registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
(b) Evidence of registration with Sokoto State Tender Board in the relevant category.
(c) Company audited accounts for three (3) years.
(d) Tax clearance for three (3) years.
(e) Evidence of financial capability or Bank guarantee.
(f) Experience/Technical qualification.
(g) Similar project executed in the past.
(h) Equipment and technology capacity.
(i) Annual turnover.
(j) VAT registration and evidence of past VAT remittances
(k) Evidence of payment of PAYE and other withholding TAXES due to the State.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested contractors who wish to tender are advise to pay prescribed tender fee at the Bank and collect their tender documents upon the presentation of evidence of payment from 7th August – 21st August, 2016 by 10:00 am- 4:00 pm daily.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS.
All tenders are to be submitted in two copies (“ORIGINAL” and” COPY”) in a sealed envelope and marked at the top right hand corner indicating the project addressed to:

CLOSING DATE OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
The submission of all tenders should be on 22nd August, 2016 by 12:00 Noon.
OPENING OF TENDERS
All tender should be open by 12:00 Noon on 23rd August, 2016 at 500 Capacity twin Lecture Theater, Sokoto State University, Along Birnin kebbi Road, Sokoto.
N/B: Only successful contractor will be contacted after opening of the tender.
