GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE FOR YEAR 2017-2018 (MERGED) TETFUND PROJECT MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION AND 2019 TETFUND ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT
INTRODUCTION
The Management of Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto. Sokoto State, hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors, Supplier, Vendors and the General Public that the Polytechnic is to undertake the Procurement of works, Goods and Services under the YEAR 2017 -2018 (MERGED) TETFUND PROJECT MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION AND 2019 TETFUND ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECTS
SCOPE OF PROJECTS:
The projects to be executed are:
YEAR 2017-2018 (MERGED) TETFUND PROJECT MAINTENANCE INTERVENTION PROJECTS
Lot 1
Rehabilitation of Lecture Theatre hall
Lot 2
Insurance Coverage of critical Infrastructure
2019 TETFUND ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT
Lot 3
Supply Installation Testing and Commissioning of Agricultural Technology Laboratories and Workshop Equipment
(3 Interested and eligible Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the various projects mentioned above in the Federal Tenders Journal, National Dailies and Notice Boards.
(4) This Advertisement is NOT an Invitation to Tender.
(5) Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including, but not limited to:
(a) Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(b) Company’s Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018 & 2019).
(c) Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate from PENCOM (2020).
(d) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act No, 19 of 2011, (2020).
(e) Evidence of current Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate (2020).
(f) Evidence of Registration on the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and Service providers by submission or interim Registration Report (IRR) expiring on 30/06/2020 or valid certificate issued by BPP.
(g) Company audited account for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018 & 2019).
(h) Bank reference from a reputable Commercial Bank with a Commitment to Provide loan facility for the execution of the contract if eventually won.
(i) List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed Projects or ongoing by the Company (at least three) with letters of award and Practical completion certificates, in the last five years.
(j) List of key personnel and evidence of proficiency and experience
(k) List of Equipment owned or on lease hold by the Company relevant for smooth execution of the project.
(l) Sworn Affidavit disclosing whether or not any officer of the relevant committees of the Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, Sokoto State or the Bureau of Public Procurement is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidder and to confirm that all information presented in its bid are true and correct in all particulars.
(m) A sworn affidavit that no of the Directors have been convicted in any country for any criminal offence including fraud or financial impropriety.
(n) Functional e-mail address and GSM numbers.
(o) Detailed company profile including Curriculum Vitae (CV) of Key personnel.
PLEASE NOTE:
The Umaru Ali Shinkafi Polytechnic, Sokoto, Sokoto State reserves the right to Involve the provision of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 on matters regarding these procurement without incurring any liability to the bidder.
