INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION DOCUMENT FOR LAND CLEARING
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ekiti State Nigeria is in the process of awarding contracts for mechanical land clearing of forest. The aim is to create opportunities for massive production of food and agriculture raw materials for emerging industries
The exercise would be earned out in the various locations across the state viz:
(i) Primary Land Clearing; Iyemero, Isan, Ikun and Oke-Ako-Ekiti.
(ii) Rome ploughing; Orin and Gede-Ekiti.
(iii) Swamp forest clearing; Ikro, Okemesi, Iluomoba and Aisegba-Ekiti.
Furthermore, find below the expected information in the prequalification bidding document. The document envelop must be marked “Prequalification Documents for Land Clearing” the bid should be in 250 hectares per lot.
Vendors should note that the Land clearing job is divided into 3 Lots:

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Prospective venders includes:
(i) Address of operational office in Ekiti;
(ii) 3 years Tax Clearance from the Ekiti State Internal Revenue Services;
(iii) Valid Registration with the Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP);
(iv) Certificate of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(v) Historical Contract Non-performance or performance;
(vi) A copy of receipt in respect of non-refundable tender fee;
(vii) The development Levy’s receipt paid for 3 consecutive years to Ekiti State Government (Years of Tender must be included);
(viii) Evidence of registration of Business Premises;
(ix) Company’s profile to include all necessary information;
(x) Evidence of site inspection by the contractors to be included;
(xi) Financial Capability;
(xii) Technical capacity 1 (Human Resources);
(xiii) Technical capacity 2 (Available equipment);
(xiv) Experience 1 (Contract of similar project executed in the past);
(xv) Experience 2 (Key activities);
(xvi) Tender envelope should be marked with the LOT on the top left hand corner and address to:
