GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE (GPN) FOR YEAR 2015-2016 (MERGED) TETFUND INTERVENTION IN LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT

INTRODUCTION: The Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai, Taraba State hereby issues the General Procurement Notice to inform eligible Contractors, Suppliers, Vendors and the General Public that the Polytechnic is to undertake the procurement of Goods under the 2015-2016 (Merged) TETFund Intervention in Library Development in the following areas:

GOODS:

Lot 1: Procurement of Assorted Books

Lot 2: Procurement of Magazine Steel Journal/Periodic Displa Racks single sided type, Paper Back Video DVD Displayer, Multimedia Displayer with MDF wood, Magazine Display Rack Double Sided, Step Stool, Ladder (Metal with 3 Steps), Right purpose security locker for Library, 3 in 1 Computer Tables with MDF wood, Executive Chair and Table, Conference Table with 10 Seater and Semi-Executive Chair.

Lot 3: Procurement of Safe Power Inverter 5KVA/96V/200AH, Mild Steel Angle Battery Rack Unit, Delight 200AH Battery, Wire and Accessories, HP All-in-One PAVILION 24” 1TB HDD Computer, Voltage Stabiliser, HP Scanjet Pro 2500 F1 Scanner and Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Items.

(1) Interested and eligible Contractors, Suppliers and Vendors are advised to lookout for the Specific Procurement Notice (SPN) for the various goods mentioned above in the National Dailies and Notice Boards depending on the threshold of each project.

(2) The Advertisement is NOT an invitation to tender.

(3) Note that the bid documents would be evaluated on responsiveness to criteria including but not limited to: Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Company’s Audited Accounts for 3 years, Company Income Tax (CIT) for 3 years, Compliance Certificate from Pension Commission (PENCOM), Compliance Certificate from Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Compliance Certificate from Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSTIF), Evidence of Financial Capability, Interim Registration Report (IRR) in the Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) National Database of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers. Documents submitted may be subjected to the diligence without recourse to bidders.

(4) The Taraba State Polytechnic, Taraba, Taraba State also reserves the right to invoke the provision of Section 28 of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007 on matters regarding in those procurement without incurring any liability to the bidder.
