RE: INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR 2017 CAPITAL PROJECTS AND EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR TETFUND NORMAL INTERVENTION PROJECTS – ADDENDUM
This is an addendum to our earlier advertisement in the Nigerian Tribune, Daily Trust and Federal Tenders Journal of 16th October, 2017 respectively. Interested contractors/consultants are hereby informed that evidence of Compliance with the Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) amendment act must be presented as one of the requirements for prequalification.

INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR 2017 CAPITAL PROJECTS
(1.0) INTRODUCTION:
The Federal College of Education (Technical) Gusau invites interested Contractors for pre-qualification in respect of 2017 Capita! Appropriation.
(2.0) THE PROJECTS
(i Construction of Hostel Blocks (ongoing)
(ii) Purchase of vehicles
(3.0) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The Consultants are required to submit their applications along with the following documents:
(a) Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with memorandum and Article of Association for Limited Liability Companies with up to date returns.
(b) Evidence of registration on the National database of contractors, consultants and service providers (NDCCSP) provided by the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
(c) Tax Clearance Certificate for three (3) years (2014-2016).
(d) Audited Accounts for three (3) years (2014 –
(e) Company Profile which should include (i) Names of current Directors as registered with CAC (ii) Names, Qualification and Experience of key Personnel and (iii) List of Verifiable Projects successfully executed in the relevant area applied for pre-qualification for the immediate past three years.
(f) Bank Reference and Statement of Account for the last 12 months (February, 2016 to January, 2017)
(g) Certificate of compliance with Pension Reforms Act, 2004, Issued by the Pensions Commission.
(h) Certificate of compliance with Section 6 (1) – (3) of the Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act, 2011, issued by the ITF.
(i) “Certificate of Practice” from relevant Professional Body and evidence of up-to-date payment of Dues for Companies applying under Consultancy.
(j) A sworn affidavit of disclose of interest that none of the Directors is a serving or retired
staff of TETFund, BPP and that none of the Directors of the Firm has been convicted in any court for any criminal offence including fraud and financial impropriety,
(k) A sworn Affidavit that the firm is not in receivership, insolvency, bankruptcy proceedings, winding up petition or proceedings and that all-information contained in the bid are true and correct.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
The pre-qualification documents must be sealed and return to the Procurement Unit not later than 6th November 2017.
The college reserves the right to reject any or all pre-qualification submissions and or discontinue the tendering process at any time. Nothing in this advert shall be construed to be a commitment on the part of the college nor shall it entitle any potential tenderer to make any claims whatsoever and or seek an indemnity from the college on account of responding to this advert. The college shall not go into correspondence with non-pre-qualified contractors in any form.
(5.0) OPENING OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Pre-qualification documents will be opened at 10.00am on 27th November, 2017. Tenderers and the general public are hereby invited.
Names of pre-qualified contractors will be published on the Notice Board of the college.
TENDER DOCUMENTS
Only contractors who have satisfied prequalification conditions above may be allowed to tender.
