ABOUT THE COMPANY

WHO WE ARE

KNCV has been fighting TB since its establishment in 1903 as a collaborative effort by several private local TB control initiatives in the Netherlands. Over the past 118 years, the organization has acquired indispensable knowledge and experience in the field of effective TB control, resulting in pre-elimination in the Netherlands and significant contributions to global evidence generation, policy development and TB program implementation worldwide.

KNCV has 90 technical staff: around 30 of whom are based in The Hague and around 60 at country level. The skill matrix includes general TB advisors and highly specialized experts who are active in the following areas: data driving strategic planning for TB Elimination; development of funding requests (GF and other); DR-TB programming including patient triage, introduction of new drugs and shorter all oral regimens, aDSM, decentralization of DR-TB services; TB/HIV collaborative interventions, joint service delivery; LTBI diagnosis, treatment and surveillance; comprehensive laboratory network strengthening, introduction of new (molecular) laboratory techniques and quality assurance systems; epidemiology, prevalence and drug resistance surveys. We do TB surveillance and surveillance systems, epidemiological modeling; mobile and digital health solutions; health systems strengthening, including human resources for health, CME, e-learning and blended learning programs; decentralized financing of integrated TB programming; increasing access for vulnerable groups, including programming to address discrimination and stigma.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The overall purpose of the position is to ensure effective coordination between the LGA PPM coordinators, engaged private health facilities and community PPM providers, and ensure prompt tracking of implementation of the PPM activities in the focused LGAs across the state as well as delivery of performance based incentives in a way that guarantees value for money and continuous quality improvement of the TB services provided in the formal and informal private health sector.Hierarchically, the PPM Associates will report to the KNCV TB Advisor within the assigned state. As a PPM Associate you will: Coordinate all PPM activities to ensure finding of missing TB cases and linkage to treatment in the StateTrack the activities of LGA PPM coordinators and report promptly the SPO and TB advisorEnsure all reports from the PPM coordinators are collated in line with project timelines and share the SPO/M/E officerReview incentive documents from the PPM coordinators, PMVs and PFP and recommend for payments within stipulated time linesConduct regular mentoring and site support visit for Private-profit-facility and other engaged entities to support the LGA PPM coordinatorsParticipate in LGA PPM review meetings and provide regular update to the SPOConduct period review of the functionality of all engaged entities and provide feedback to the PPM coordinators to improve performance.In conjunction with the PPM coordinator conduct periodic review of the hub and spokes mapping for update as may be necessary.Track PPM performance in the state against set target and ensure cascade losses and gaps are promptly addressedWork with the State PPM focal persons/M/E officers to ensure all PPM contribution to the program are properly reportedFollow up with electronic update of all PPM data by key responsible personnel.Perform any other duty assignPerform other additional duties assigned
