Delta is on a journey to become a world-class retailer, changing the way Delta can sell and service flight and ancillary (non-flight) products and improve the overall customer experience. To achieve this goal, Delta's Retail Strategy is focused on dynamically manufacturing products, offering the most relevant product to customers in their channel of choice, and servicing those products when plans change.

Enterprise Solutions (ES) is seeking a Senior Product Manager who will own the vision and implementation of the retail product catalog that serves any product to be sold by Delta. The retail product catalog sits at the heart of Delta's retail vision and drives the various behaviors and attributes of what we offer to customers. The catalog can be extended to define many different things about a product - from refundability/changeability impacts, is it combinable with other products, differentiated product offerings by channel, etc. Additionally, the ability to offer and service relevant bundled products, an exciting promise unlocked by the product catalog, will be owned by this product manager.

A successful candidate is motivated by solving problems, exhibits curiosity to understand current processes, and can think creatively to identify solutions. Ownership and initiative will be vital for this product manager along with cross-functional thinking on how the catalog will be extended and tied together within the Delta retailing ecosystem. The ideal candidate enjoys creating and executing on a big-picture vision for their products from the early stages of a product's development. They are responsible for leading software teams to execute on the product vision and roadmap. The Product Manager will work across business units to ensure requirements are well understood across the enterprise, gain cross-divisional consensus on priorities, ensure deliverables meet business needs, and balance long term flexibility and speed to market.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct market research and formulate the business vision for the product catalog. Translate vision into technical requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with other internal IT and business teams and with external providers to support the development and implementation of Delta Air Lines' third-party APIs.
• Represent Delta Air Lines in the IATA Offer & Order Group and ATPCo forums for development and enhancement of APIs utilized by the industry.
• Build an executable product roadmap that balances business value, timing needs, and development complexity.
• Be primary commercial point of contact to facilitate development requests.
• Incorporate comprehensive view of products for sale in both internal and external (third-party) platforms.
• Act as manager for agile development teams.
• Ensure IT development properly leverages backend mechanisms and achieves desired business goal.
• Work collaboratively cross divisionally to ensure functionality flows through to customer and agent-facing channels consistently and adds expected value.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
• Proven success in understanding and managing complex processes.
• Experience translating a business vision into written technical requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly with business leaders and technical developers.
• Must have the ability to work well with diverse groups in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision.
• Results oriented and capable of meeting or exceeding deadlines with attention to detail and follow through.
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
• Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred Major in quantitative discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Engineering.
• Background in travel industry with working knowledge of IATA, ATPCo, and/or Global Distribution Systems
• Combination of at least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Revenue Management, Internal or External channels, Project Management and Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
• Experience working in an Agile environment as a Product Manager/Owner
