Delta Air Lines is building strategic partnerships that create industry-leading experiences for customers, acquire new SkyMiles member, deepen engagement with the Delta ecosystem for existing members, support broader commercial and company priorities, and drive new value for our partners across Delta.

The Manager, Loyalty Partnerships will accelerate our partnership vision by leveraging our existing portfolio and verticals to unlock growth in revenue, member engagement, and partner success. This person will seek to maximize the impact for established partners through new value propositions and experiences, additional channel marketing, deeper integration across the Delta ecosystem, and prioritization across our portfolio of partnerships.

This leader will need to be a strategic and creative thinker able to find a mutually beneficial outcome for the partner, the customer, and Delta. This role will not have direct reports initially and will report to the General Manager for Non-Air Partnerships.

Responsibilities
• Own a portfolio of partners in key verticals/sectors and cross-functional projects guided by prioritization and potential.
• Build business cases to guide prioritization and assessment of partner opportunities.
• Develop the relationship with potential partners to establish common ground, clearly understand partner priorities, and monitor interest and feedback to inform value creation opportunity.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations for senior leadership both inside and outside of Delta with regular progress updates on pipeline progress.
• Utilize innovative thinking to seek new ways to more deeply integrate partner opportunities across Delta to drive additional engagement and revenue to the enterprise while increasing durability with our closest partners.
• Advocate for partners across Delta and work closely with key stakeholders including our partners and agencies and also with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Social Media, Digital, Operations, IT, Legal, Customer Experience, Supply Chain, Global Sales and others to review opportunities in motion and plan for upcoming launches.
• Help evolve our partnership strategy using business development learnings to inform "where to play, how to win" which maximizes Delta's ability to deliver value.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
• Have experience in partnership development or strategy development with a successful track record of managing and delivering new opportunities from start to finish.
• Connect the desired loyalty business opportunity and requirements with both Delta and partner organization goals to ensure alignment and feasibility.
• Engage a variety of partner contacts and stakeholders across the business to build consensus for partnerships and deliver sometimes complex implementations with matrix teams responsible for delivery.
• Be insight-driven and comfortable with numerical analysis, research, and building the story.
• Deliver professional presentations that outline results of analysis and recommendations in a clear, concise format.
• Be flexible and able to handle changing priorities with minimal supervision and work with a bias towards speed/action/resolution.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree OR have 5 years of relevant industry/work experience.
• Have proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
• Where permitted by applicable law, must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire to be considered for U.S.-based job, if not currently employed by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
• Demonstrates that privacy is a priority when handling personal data.

• Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
• MBA or Master's degree with emphasis in Marketing, Finance or Business Strategy is strongly preferred
