How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The International Pricing Solution is responsible for creating and maintaining processes, tools, and reports that impact Latin, TATL and TPAC Revenue Management teams. The candidate can expect to perform a consultant-like role, translating business needs of the International organization into products that improve accuracy and efficiency of the work. The role is project-based and highly challenging, requiring strong logic and data skills and an aptitude for coding. The International Pricing Solutions team is responsible for:

• Will support 1 International entity

• Understand the processes and business rules that are specific to that entity and build tools to help reduce complexity

• Organizing and forming the future pricing role by building tools/reports that will bring increased analytical capabilities to a traditionally core pricing function

• Partnering with other teams (Retail, Strategy, CDI, GPD) to develop new processes that cross entities by building both short & long term solutions to bring in new pricing capabilities

• Working with business teams to implement large system wide actions that impact thousands of markets

• Developing dynamic reports and tools to help analysts and executive leadership understand and take action on pricing trends and their revenue impact

• Files large scale automation batches and updates large volumes of market strategies using available tools

• Recommending strategic and tactical business actions based on post-mortem analysis of prior initiatives

• Identifying and proactively addressing key business needs and issues, either analytical or technical

• Example projects include new analytical reports for Pricing 3.0 (Periscope)

• Delivering ad-hoc projects for various stakeholders with short timelines

• Creating operational processes to solve macro-level issues

This position may be filled as a Grade 6, or 7 depending on applicant qualifications.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
• Must seek challenging, analytical work, and possess the ability to communicate detailed analysis through written and verbal means to all levels throughout the organization
• High degree of intellectual curiosity, initiative, and drive
• Ability to manage numerous responsibilities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
• Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
• Previous work experience with large scale data analysis is preferred, ideally using SQL and/or SAS coding language.
• Aptitude for data analysis/manipulation and interest for coding is required

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
• Familiarity with airline economic concepts is preferred. Familiarity with pricing logic and systems (AirPrice, PORT, DL Term) is a plus
• Strong proficiency with Excel is preferred
• Experience with Tableau is preferred
