How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
A Domestic Pricing Solutions Specialist will craft automation processes and data visualization tools that drive the continued evolution of the Domestic Pricing organization. The candidate can expect an exciting consultant-like role, translating business needs of the pricing team into initiatives that improve accuracy and efficiency of Delta prices. The role is project-based, highly collaborative, and requires strong logic and data skills.
Responsibilities
• Developing dynamic reports and tools to help analysts and leadership understand and act on pricing trends and their revenue impact.
• Maintaining, updating, and serving as the SME for pricing automation processes.
• Collaborating with analysts, leaders, and partners to craft ad-hoc, data-driven analyses and find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Driving pricing innovation in premium cabins and other products, including refundable and Basic Economy fares.
• Identifying key business needs, either analytical or technical, and proactively addressing opportunities.
• Addressing quick-turn operational pricing needs and running recurring processes impacting thousands of markets at a time.

What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (preferred Qualifications)
• Understanding of coding languages and/or data visualization software, SAS/SQL or Tableau specifically.
• A solid grasp on airline economic concepts and/or pricing logic.
• Proficiency with Excel
