How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The key responsibilities will focus on data analysis and assessment of the financial impact to Air Traffic Liability (ATL), eCredits, and the corresponding breakage/Unearned Transportation Revenue (UTR) from changes in the applicable policies and underlying technology.
- Collaborate with Commercial teams and analyze new fare product proposals and changes to existing fare products, interpret passenger ticketing and tax rules such as no-show policy, refundability, validity; support the findings through the data analysis and modelling and present an executive summary.
- Design/improve a tracking/forecasting data-driven model and requirements for UTR.
- Understand the life cycle of a passenger ticket from purchase through revenue recognition to expiration/breakage, including evaluation of passenger usage through lift, refund, exchange, or breakage.
- Collaborate on management reporting/dashboard development for ATL, eCredits, UTR.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of ATL breakage to general ledger.
- Present the analyses and findings to the leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deep analysis of accounting/financial and ticketing information relative to Air Traffic Liability, eCredits, and ticket breakage analysis.
- Collaborate across business unit teams to understand new product proposals, changes to existing products, and executing of the corresponding policies, including ticketing terms and conditions.
- Work collaboratively cross-divisionally to ensure controls and functionality flow through to proper revenue accounting/financial reporting and adhere to Sarbanes Oxley and financial/tax audit reviews.
- Develop data models and dashboards for external and internal reporting.
- Supports department's compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements by striving to enhance and maintain good internal controls.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- 5 years of related experience is required.
- Working knowledge of data tools like Hyperion, SAS, Tableau, Toad, etc.
- Proven track record of performing complex data analysis with large data sets and complex processes.
- Successful candidate must have a working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to produce concise and relevant documents and presentations for senior management using highly proficient written and oral communications skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work independently.
- Exhibits curiosity and thinks creatively to help identify solutions.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or other business-related field or Master's Degree with major in quantitative discipline such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Engineering; MBA/MA/MS is preferred.
- Airline industry experience in one of commercial or finance functions such as Reservations, Airport Customer Service, eCommerce, Revenue Management, Sales, or Revenue Accounting /Pipeline preferred.
- Experience providing fare product and policy impact analysis.
- 3-5 years of in-depth experience with the analytical applications such as Hyperion, SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, SAS, etc and Revenue Pipeline/BARTS.
