Plateau is currently accepting applications for a Professional Services Supervisor.
This position oversees Professional Services personnel and departmental operations. This includes accompanying staff on site visits to customer locations, helping to identify client needs, and recommending appropriate solutions. The Professional Services Supervisor maintains constant awareness of market trends making appropriate recommendations for action, and stays up to date on current and emerging IT and telecommunications technology. Other duties include preparing and administering departmental budgets, preparing sales forecasts and other reports, and evaluating and recommending capital equipment purchases.
Minimum requirements to apply include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or another related field or equivalent experience; advanced knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations; in-depth understanding of programming, computer science, and digital security; a clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture; and experience working on multiple, simultaneous projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills; have strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills; and will have demonstrated exceptional leadership and customer service skills.
This position will be expected to represent the company at customer meetings, industry meetings, trade shows, fairs, and other public events. Some travel throughout Plateau’s geographic serving area, including occasional overnight stays, will be required. A clear 3-year driving record is necessary.
