Substitutes are ‘on-call’ employees serving on a day-to-day basis.
Work Year: Continuous
Employee Type: Full Time and Part Time
Salary: Full Day (4.0 hours or more) $250 Part Day (3.99 Hours or less) $125
Basic Function
Under the direction of a site principal, principal’s designee or other appropriate administrator, plan, implement, monitor, and assess a classroom instructional program.
Education And Experience Required
• Bachelor's Degree
The CTC is waiving the Basic Skills Requirement for 30 day Emergency permits effective 1/1/23-7/1/24.
License, Certifications, Bonding And/or Testing Required
Valid Teaching Credential/ 30-Day Emergency Permit
Working Conditions
The working environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position will include office and school environments.
Contingent Upon Hire
Candidates must provide proof of a negative TB reading (no older than 4 years), pass a criminal background check by the Department of Justice and possibly by the FBI, have a valid teaching credential/permit on file with CTC.
