Bidding was conducted through the International Competitive bidding (ICB) procedure as specified in the World Bank’s Guideline: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers revised January 2011, revised July 1, 2014 (Procurement Guidelines”), and was opened to eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

Construction of 12m x 3.5m open channel drain from 0+200 -0+220 (Stilling Basin located in this section).
Combination of vertical drops, channel with expansions and impact structures used to stabilize the flow of the storm water discharge.
Reinforced concrete Retaining will at 0+320 to stabilize main Ravine head of collapsed portion.
Gabion and Reno mattress drop structure and open channel used to achieve vertical drop of flow from opening in retaining will in a stabilized state at the point of discharge in the natural channel bed.
Toe beam at end of Gabion outfill channel for scour protection.
20m length of Rock fill to serve as scour protection to the beam at end of Gabion Channel as well as further dissipating the discharge flow into the natural channel
