Are you ready for a challenge in a fast-paced dynamic organization that has several touch points with cross functional stakeholders throughout Delta? This position is for a Delta Technical Operations Division (TOC) finance manager located in Atlanta GA. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead a team responsible for developing the monthly, quarterly, and long range OPEX and Capital forecasts for the Engine Maintenance Organization (EM).
• Partner with cross functional stakeholders (i.e., EM, Operations, Supply Chain, Financial Reporting, Corporate Finance, Delta Material Services, etc.) to evaluate business capture opportunities that align to organizational initiatives. Includes ROI and ad hoc analysis
• Evaluate performance to plan through variance analysis to understand maintenance cost drivers and provide recommendations to the EM leadership team on potential counter measures that can be deployed to course correct (includes articulating impact to financials)
• Lead monthly financial close process by reviewing and approving journal entries in SAP
• Ensure all SOXs / internal controls are followed and identify areas for improvement
• Frequently present and interact with senior leaders throughout the TOC and corporate organizations.
• Develop strategic and tactical plans that create a safety conscious and inclusive environment which result in employee safety and well-being
• Drive finance team operating cadence, employee development activity, review team deliverables, etc.
This position requires on site attendance 3 to 4 days per week and is based in Atlanta GA
