INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/FINANCIAL BIDS
PROCUREMENT NO.
(1) UPGRADING OF KWANAR ZAUMA TO ZAUMA GAURAYE TO DUWIGI FEEDER ROAD TO FIRST COAT SURFACE DRESSING PHASE 1, 7KM
PUBLIC NOTICE
This is to inform the general public that Gwiwa Local Government is carrying out the above-mentioned project, therefore interested companies are required to indicate their interest with regards to interest with regards to said project while complying with the necessary procedures as follows:
(1) PREAMBLES:
In compliance with the Jigawa State procurement process, the Gwiwa Local Government wish to notify interested Bidders of its intention to procure
LG GWW/PROC/ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
(2) PROJECT SCOPE
Up-grading of kwanar Zauma-zaumar Mahauta To Zaumar Fulani- Zaumar Gauraye Road To First Coat Surface Dressing with a Completion period of 12weeks.
(3) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
To be considered for pre-qualification interest competent and reliable contractors are required to provide verifiable evidence including but not limited to the following documents.
(a) Certificate of in cooperation with cooperate affairs commission
(b) Certificate True copy of memorandum and articles of association
(c) Evidence of registration with Jigawa State works Registration unit
(d) Task clearance certificate for the last 3 years
(e) Audited account for the last 1 year
(f) VAT registration and evidence of past remittance
(g) Evidence of financial capability and banking support
(h) Company average annual turnover of not less than 100 million Naira
(i) Evidence of similar project Executed (letter of award and completion certificate) of at least 2 in the last 5 years
(j) Verifiable evidence of company’s profile and technical qualification of key personnel registered with relevant professional bodies (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN, ARCON etc)
(k) That company fulfilled all obligations to pay Tax pension and social security contribution
(l) A Sworn Affidavit certifying as follows:
(i) That the document submitted for the pre-qualification exercise are not only genuine but correct.
(ii) That none of the directors of the company have been convicted by any court of law
(iii) That the company is not bankrupt.
(iv) That none of the officers of Gwiwa local Government Jigawa State, is a present or former director of the company.
(v) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work.
(vi) Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents need not apply.
(4) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders are to collect the tender documents from the office of the director planning research/statistics. Gwiwa Local Government from the date of publication of this advert and between the hour of 09:00 am to 05:00 pm daily after payment of a non-refundable fee of N30,000.00k
(5) SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENT
Prequalification and financial bids should be submitted in two different sealed Envelopes and labeled “prequalification Bids” and “financial Bid” respectively with the company’s name indicated at the back of each Envelope. B
(6) OPENING OF BIDS
Only technical bids should be opened immediately after the deadline for submission by 12:00noon at the Conference Hall of Gwiwa local government Secretariat Jigawa State.
