Develops and delivers outcome-focused, purpose-driven communications to tell the story of technology products, services, and initiatives to Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) audiences; creates and executes product support communication strategies focused on reaching defined audiences and driving outcomes that support business and enterprise objectives; produces compelling, integrated messaging and engaging content across platforms and channels, using measurement and analysis to evaluate success and inform future planning and communication objectives.

Qualifications:
Required
• Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Five (5) years of progressively more responsible experience related to customer relations, strategic communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of current theory, practices, materials, and methods used in strategic communications.
• Knowledge of Associated Press (AP) stylebook.
• Proficiency in technology used to create communication products and media.
• Knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Skill in customer service and customer relations.
• Effective human resources and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Preferred
• Experience in communications in an IT setting.
