BS in Software or Electrical Engineering 1-2 years of product development experience. Ability to work closely with diverse teams in all areas of product development and engineering. Serious candidates should have one, or more, of the following desires/experience/skills: Software development Design and implement engineering test software running on PC host for use in performance measurement, bottleneck analysis, and resource usage monitoring for the embedded systems designed. Design and implement the low-level core modules to interface with the external hardware subsystems which are building blocks of PC-based printer systems. The core modules are to run under the main application's Windows GUI. Embedded systems firmware design/development Firmware architecture design and implementation for embedded systems Implementation of TCP/IP stack and UDP Low-level device driver design, multi-threading, multi core programming, debugging and performance testing. System level design and integration System architecture design of industrial printer systems Basic knowledge in mechanical system structure and familiarity with sensors for use in building printer systems and other industrial electromechanical systems. Coordinating with mechanical engineers for system integration of commercial-grade products. Ideal candidates will also possess the desire to learn and become proficient in one, or more, of the following experience/skill sets: Knowledge in Windows GUI design in C++, C# or WPF Knowledge in scripting languages (Perl/Python/TCL) Embedded Linux or embedded RTOS Common IoT development platforms Developing IOT (WiFi / BLE) interfaces to cloud service platforms and mobile applications. USB device firmware implementation Knowledge in print engines (ink jet, DLP, laser, thermal, etc.) Knowledge in optics, illumination systems, scanners, etc. Gaining familiarity with design of FPGAs through VHDL and Verilog
