Summary of Job Duties:

The primary responsibility of the Server Assistant/Food Runner, is to assist the Hooters Girl Food Servers, as well as maintain the entire restaurant, including the dining room, storerooms, food pick up area, and beverage station according to established cleanliness standards

Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth
• Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen
• Sets tables with silverware and glassware
• Delivers food prepared in the kitchen to Guests in the bar and dining area
• Replenishes supply of paper napkins, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room
• Supplies service bar with food such as soups, salads, and desserts
• Serves ice water and non-alcoholic beverages
• Cleans and polishes glass shelves and doors of service bars and equipment such as coffee urns and cream and milk dispensers
• Makes coffee and fills fruit juice dispensers
• Sweeps and mops floors
• Assists Hooters Girl Food Server with side work
• Adheres to uniform and appearance standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledge of hotel services, features, local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Education and/or Experience:
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Be able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms
• This is a trainable position

License Requirement:
• Alcohol Awareness Card
• Food Handler’s Card

Machinery or Work Equipment Used:
• Beverage equipment, carts, broom and butler, bus cart
