Skills/Experience: Experience with Dual Turret & Dual Spindle multi-axis lathes Proper knowledge and use of all measuring instruments; including, but not limited to: ID mics, OD mics, Caliper, Blade mics, Tri mics, etc. Experience making tool and fixture offsets. Setup experience of at least y-axis lathes, is a plus. Thorough understanding of G & M codes, canned cycles & circular interpolation. Able to calculate dimensions, set-up jobs on the machine, create G-Code programs (or modify G-Codes). Applicants will be required to demonstrate proficiency in calculating dimensions from sketches (perspective drawings), and to run a small job on the machine that may require a modification to the G-codes. (5+ years of experience desired) Education: Ideal candidate will have studied machining and have completed a 2 year program in the subject. Alternate education can be through an apprentice program
