Skills/Experience: Professional: B.S in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience. Three or more years of experience with machine automation. Programming and integration of Allen-Bradley PLC's and HMI's. Experience with basic electronics, multimeters, and test equipment. Basic experience with AutoCAD. Some experience with Visual Basic and C programming languages Experience with robotics, vision systems, industrial networking. Project management skills Skilled in Microsoft Office suite to prepare reports, procedures and presentations. Personal: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment; focus on the critical path; exert positive influence on non-staff to gain support for process changes and automation projects (through personal enthusiasm, communication, negotiation, training). Self-awareness (vision, communication style, motivation, personal and professional goals). Strong written/verbal communications skills, comfortable with speaking to groups. Education: Applicant should have an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree or equivalent experience with 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Working Conditions & Safety Concerns: Combination of office and manufacturing environments. General manufacturing safety practices will be followed when working in those areas.
